When I first started Rosemaling in the 70's I was fortunate to take with a very gifted teacher. In his book written in 1974 he stated that "society is not static and Rosemaling should be either". Rosemaling needs to grow, change and try new things to keep it fresh and exciting. After many years of studying the history of the styles, I now turn some of my attention to creating new looks for this wonderful and creative style of painting.
