L2033 Rose Round Box: Warm and Cool Study

Join David as he begins a series of lessons designed around a limited palette of six colors. In this lesson he will show you how to design, draw and paint the flowers on this 14 inch round box. The goal of this lesson is to understand the temperatures of 2 very important limited palette colors, Red Violet and Naphthol Red Light.

Learn how to add cool colors to the backs of flowers and the warm colors to the fronts creating more dimension within the painting. Controlling temperature is extremely important within paintings and something that is not taught very often in Decorative Painting. David will also paint this lesson with 1 ¾ inch brush and a # 6 fusion blender filbert. Not only limiting your colors, but refining you brush skills as well.
