DVD1102 Tomte Christmas!
Join us for some fun Christmas painting. These little mischievous elves are a wonderful part of Scandinavian tradition. Norway and Denmark call them Nisse, Sweden the Tomte. Growing up our family called them Tompte. Shorter than 3 feet these little guys can be a helping hand around the house and garden or cause a little trouble if you don't treat them correctly. In Norway the tomte started out as a Yule goat who appeared on Christmas eve handing out peanuts. The Yule goat was later replaced with the Nisse. Today, the Tomte/Nisse deliver gifts just like Santa Claus.
Join David as he freehand paints for you this wonderful holiday tradition. Painted on 2 DVDs for a total of 4 hours of education you will see all the strokes and dabs of paint to make this beautiful holiday plate. With this DVD we will also be including a special 30 minute showing the painting of faces, where David will show you how to make different expressions on your little Nisse if desired.
