This year I have been creating many "fusion" techniques, where I take older techniques and update them to more modern media. Artists have been doing this for hundreds of years. This painting is an updated version of the English (Georgian) Chippendale style. I use a French Au Premier Coup painting technique to preserve the white which is associated with Chippendale. I then finished with the strokes of Au Premier Coup. Painted very fast and only used 6 colors. No layers as in Chippendale. REALLY FUN!
