A common replacement for the fugitive pigment Alizarin Crimson (PR 83). Some companies call it Quinacridone Violet. Red Violet (PV 19) is a very powerful and reliable pigment. Shift to the violet side with Quinacridone Violet ( PV 122), Dioxazine Purple (PV 23), or Ultramarine Blue (PB 29). Mix rich browns and soft greys with Pine Green (Mix) and Titanium White (PW 6).
For Acrylic techniques, use with water. Out of the tube, they have an approximate drying time of 20 minutes depending on the humidity level in a room.
For Global techniques (oil emulation), use with Extender Medium. By evaporating the water out of the paint and replacing it with Extender you can add hours to the drying time. For more on this process please visit us at Global Art Supply.
Our trademark Global® formula. This special formula increases the drying time of the paint from 20 minutes to several hours so you can do oil painting techniques.
Global® colors are a wonderful way to experience the high quality artistic pigments in the Heritage MultiMedia paint line. Combine them with the soft fusion brushes and you can paint any oil technique without the solvents, smell and health issues.
